Looptrotter SAT 500 is a single-channel 500-series saturation module built around Looptrotter’s renowned harmonic circuit. Designed to add low-order harmonics while gently controlling dynamics, it increases perceived loudness and density in a smooth, ear-friendly way. Drive sets saturation depth, while true bypass and harmonic LED indicators ensure precise control. Hi Smooth enhances high-frequency saturation without harshness, and Lo Safe preserves low-end clarity on bass-heavy material. With independent dry and wet controls, SAT 500 moves effortlessly from subtle analog color to bold, aggressive saturation for tracking, mixing, or parallel processing.

The Drive control sets both input level and saturation depth, while True Bypass allows instant comparison between dry and processed signals. Dual LEDs indicate 4% and 8% THD, making harmonic content and gain staging easy to monitor and repeat.

Hi Smooth boosts high frequencies before saturation and attenuates them after, enabling richer harmonic detail with a naturally smoothed response. Lo Safe protects low frequencies via pre-emphasis and de-emphasis, keeping bass-heavy material tight and distortion-free.
