Pure Tube Signal Path
Built with a deliberately minimalistic design, the signal path uses only essential components to preserve tone integrity. An IGS Custom input transformer feeds two military-grade tubes, 6N2P-EW and 6N1P-EW, operating in true class A. Only two Mundorf capacitors are used, ensuring classic tube character with extremely low non-harmonic distortion.
High-End, No-Compromise Design
Every component is chosen for sonic performance rather than convenience or cost. The result is a preamp that feels immediate, harmonically rich, and dynamically responsive, without unnecessary coloration or congestion.
High-Impedance Instrument Input
A dedicated Hi-Z input allows direct recording of guitar, bass, and sound modules straight into the tube grid. This provides proper impedance matching, low noise, and subtle tube coloration, ideal for clean DI tracks and amp-modeling workflows in modern DAWs.
Transformer-Balanced Input and Output
Both input and output stages are transformer-isolated, delivering galvanic isolation, excellent CMRR, and musically pleasing harmonic enhancement. Balanced XLR connections and accessible tube sockets complete a professional, studio-ready design.
