MC2.1

Monitor Controller

The MC2.1 is a precision monitor controller designed to give engineers an accurate, uncoloured reference point for mixing and recording. With four inputs, multiple speaker outputs, onboard mix-checking tools, and dual headphone amplifiers, it delivers the control and transparency needed for confident monitoring in any studio. Its active circuit design maintains signal integrity, while robust construction ensures long-term reliability. An optional rack-mounting kit is available for seamless integration into fixed installations.

Resources

At the heart of the MC2.1 lies a clear philosophy: what you record should be exactly what you hear. After investing in quality microphones, preamps, processors, and monitors, the monitor controller becomes the crucial final link that shapes every decision. It defines your reference point for microphone placement, tonal balance, and EQ choices. The MC2.1 delivers that reference with absolute accuracy and transparency, preserving your mix without coloration.

Inputs & Outputs
The MC2.1 offers four inputs, three stereo balanced monitor outputs, and a dedicated mono speaker or subwoofer output. Each output includes independent left and right trim controls for precise level matching between speakers. Its active circuitry provides an exceptionally clean and faithful signal path, avoiding the inconsistencies and compromises common in passive monitor controllers.

Mix-Checking & Monitoring Tools
A full suite of mix-checking tools is built in, including mono, dim, phase reverse, and individual left and right cut options. These functions let you assess balance, phase integrity, and mix translation with confidence. Two independent headphone amplifiers support flexible personal monitoring, while the integrated talkback system adds professional communication capability rarely seen at this level.

Built to Last
Smart, robust, and engineered for demanding studio environments, the MC2.1 is built to withstand daily professional use. High-grade components and solid construction ensure long-term reliability and consistent performance.

Optional MCB Rack-Mounting Kit
For fixed installations, the MC2.1 can be rack-mounted using the optional MCB rack-mounting kit. The kit includes two rack ears, a front fascia, and a cable that relocates the AUX input from the rear panel to the front for easier access. All necessary screws, a full assembly guide, and an Allen key are provided for a clean and secure installation.
