Stereo Parametric Equaliser
Vintage Tone with Modern Precision
The Drawmer 1974 is a fully stereo, four-band parametric equalizer that blends classic analogue musicality with the control and accuracy demanded by modern studios. Designed for everything from subtle tonal refinement to bold sonic shaping, it delivers warmth, depth, and clarity that plug-ins struggle to replicate.
True stereo operation means a single set of controls governs both channels, making adjustments fast, intuitive, and perfectly matched. Precision stepped potentiometers ensure accurate left/right tracking, while indented controls allow reliable recall for mixing and mastering workflows.
Genuine Stereo Operation, Intuitive Workflow
With stereo-linked architecture, every adjustment affects both channels simultaneously. Each control is hand-matched by Drawmer technicians to tight tolerances, ensuring consistent, repeatable results. This makes the 1974 especially effective on stereo buses, subgroups, and mastering chains where accuracy is critical.
Four-Band Parametric EQ with Variable Bandwidth
Each of the four bands offers fully variable frequency selection with ±12 dB of cut or boost. The two mid bands feature continuously variable bandwidth, allowing ultra-surgical correction or broad, musical shaping. Whether removing problem resonances or sculpting tone creatively, the 1974 adapts effortlessly.
Precision Low- and High-Cut Filtering
Fully adjustable low- and high-cut filters provide detailed control at the frequency extremes. The low-cut (high-pass) filter sweeps from 10 Hz to 225 Hz, while the high-cut (low-pass) filter ranges from 4 kHz to 32 kHz. These sweepable filters allow unwanted rumble, hiss, or excess top end to be removed cleanly, improving headroom and maintaining mix clarity.
Switchable Slopes and Musical Peak Mode
The 1974 stands apart with adjustable filter slopes. The low band offers 6, 9, or 12 dB-per-octave options, while the high band provides 6 or 12 dB-per-octave selection. A unique Peak mode on the low band introduces a focused boost just before roll-off, adding punch and definition to kick drums and bass while controlling subsonic energy.
“A great choice if you’re looking for a classic-styled but affordable EQ.”
